Elections of a new IALE-Europe Executive Committee and Council Representative 2022-2025

The call for nominations for the new IALE-Europe Executive Committee and Council Representative for the period 2025–2029 is now open!

Elections for a new Executive Committee (EC) and Representative of IALE-Europe in the IALE Council will be organised at the General Assembly on 2 September, during the IALE 2025 European Landscape Ecology Congress in Bratislava. The current EC is in its final year of the present term and has initiated the process for electing a new EC. We hope that this election will encourage members to play an active role in IALE-Europe's activities.

The procedure will follow the schedule below:

• 2 June 2025: The announcement of the election is sent, members who are on the membership list of IALE-Europe on this day are encouraged to participate in the formation and submission of candidate lists to the IALE-Europe Executive Committee as well as to nominate a representative for IALE-Europe in the IALE-Council to the nominating committee.
• 2 September 2025 (16:30 CET): Deadline for submitting lists of candidates for the Executive Committee and nominations for the council representative should be sent to the Chair of the Nomination Committee.
• 2 September 2025 (18:30 CET): Start of the General Assembly and elections for the period 2025-2029.
• 2 September 2025: results of the elections are communicated to the members
• 15 October 2025: minutes of the General Assembly and results of the elections will be published on the webpage.

Since IALE-Europe is a democratic organisation, we would like to encourage all of you to participate in the elections, by voting or forming a list. We see this election also as an occasion for all of you who are not yet a member to join the European chapter and looking very much forward to your engagement.
