Call for an early-career representative in the IALE-Europe Executive Committee
A call is now open for a new position in the Executive Board of IALE-Europe namely the representative of early-career landscape ecologists. The call is open to any early-career member of the landscape ecology community (e.g., PhD student, postdoc), no matter the lenses and methods used to study landscapes. Read more.

IALE World Congress 2019 in Milan
The next World Congress, hosted in Milan (1-5 July 2019), is approaching. During the congress, IALE-Europe will organise the PhD course in Landscape Ecology and two symposia. Furthermore, we are planning to organise a meeting with all European national chapters.

Immemoriam Prof. dr. Ies Zonneveld
On December 18, 2017, Prof. dr. Ies Zonneveld passed away. As the first president of IALE, he was engaged in the foundation of the association in 1982. His colleague Rob Jongman wrote an immemoriam: see here.
