The course is organized by Department of Geoscience and Natural Resource Management (IGN), University of Copenhagen in co-operation with the IALE- Europe with Lone S. Kristensen and Veerle Van Eetvelde as course coordinators.
Venue
The course opens with a welcome evening (4th October) followed by full day seminar (5th October) to be held at Department of Geoscience and Natural Resource Management (IGN), University of Copenhagen (Frederiksberg Campus). The rest of the course (6th -9th October) will take place in a rural environment in Jutland, at Thyregod Conference Centre, Skolegade 8, Give. This location is already studied and well known by the organizing committee and will form the departure for excursions and meetings with a farm community engaged in collaborative landscape planning. Common transport from Copenhagen to Thyregod will be arranged.
Fee
Course fee will be app. 400 € including costs for accommodation and meals from Monday the 5th October to Friday the 9th. Accommodation in Copenhagen from Sunday 4th to Monday 5th is on own expense. This also counts if you need an additional accommodation from Friday the 9th to Saturday the 10th.
There will be a small number of scholarships for the students, covering or reducing the fee significantly (depending on number of applications). Candidates should indicate in the registration form their need to receive a scholarship, and the reasons for this. The selection will be done based on the abstracts sent.
Deadlines and deliverables
31st July: deadline of preliminary registration and deliverable of abstracts (600 words). Registration has to be send to Kamilla Hansen Møller: kahm@ign.ku.dk
12th August: message of acceptance of enrolment will be given.
26th August: deadline of final registration and payment (details will be communicated with the information of acceptance for the course).
15th September: deadline for submission of draft paper (3000-5000 words)
15th November: deadline for submission of a final paper (3000-5000 words)
The poster to be presented in the course should be brought to the course, already printed.
