The course opens with an informal welcome evening (Sunday evening 30 June) followed by a half-day seminar (1 July) to introduce the PhD course, prior to the opening session of the World Congress. This introduction to the course will take place at the congress venue.

After the Congress, the consecutive days of the course will be organised in the hostel located on the top of Monte Barro (Regional Park of Monte Barro), located near the city of Lecco. Common transport from Milan to Monte Barro and back will be arranged.

The course fee will be 560 EUR, including costs for meals on Monday 1 July, accommodation and meals from Friday evening, 5 July, until Wednesday noon, 10 July. Accommodation in Milan before and during the Congress from 1 until 5 July is on own expense. There will be an opportunity to stay in the students’ facilities of Bicocca University.

There will be the opportunity to apply for funding to attend the PhD course. Candidates should indicate on the registration form if they need funding and argument why.
